11/9/24
With a high level of member and guest participation, generous sponsors, and some world-class BBQ and fixin's provided by CT Yankee BBQ, Highland's Annual Par 3 Tournament and Pig Roast delivered on its fundraising goals, making a substantial contribution to the 2025 maintenance equipment budget.  Tournament organizer Doug Rossetti and his team turned the Highland Golf course into 18 par 3's ranging from 65 to 180 yards in length. Seventy-two golfers played a four-man scramble, and when the dust settled, Team Maui - Jeff Roy, Luke Roy, John Kearns and Chad Esposito - took home the coveted Pig's Head Trophy. 2nd place went to the team of Gary Hare, Gene Rahily, Don Williams and Ron Cappellieri in a match of cards over Bob "Pops" Maler, Joe Joyce, EJ Volpe and Josh Rivera.  Congrats Team Maui!
